Shari Kim, PhD

Shari Kim has been in the mental health field for 25 years. She was trained in EMDR in 2019 and has provided regular consultation services since becoming a CIT in 2020. Her areas of expertise are Dissociation and DID, complex trauma, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation. She currently operates a private practice in Baltimore, MD.  Passionate about social justice, Dr. Kim also serves as the Chair of the Social Justice Subcommittee of the Legislative Committee for the Maryland Psychological Association, the Co-Chair of the Social Action Committee at Bolton Street Synagogue, and as a member of the Baltimore City Human Trafficking Collaborative. She has also served with the Red Cross Disaster Mental Health team since 2016, currently serving as Coordinator for the DC and Northern Virginia area.
