Discover How Challenging Clients Can Become Catalysts for Healing
Explore how difficult client relationships can transform into powerful opportunities for growth—for both client and therapist. With original insights into the metaphysical and spiritual dimensions of therapy, learn practical tools to turn therapeutic challenges into mutual healing, resilience, and professional transformation.

This presentation explores the therapist-client relationship from the perspective of spiritual growth and the metaphysical dimension as a way to gain insight about the opportunity for personal and professional growth, insight, awareness of points of connection and disconnection in the relationship, and dealing more effectively with therapeutic relationship challenges through awareness and analysis. Techniques to identify those aspects will be presented along with a discussion about the morphogenetic field, past-life issues, and understanding relationships as a vehicle for growth, not only for the client, but also for the therapist.

The purpose of this presentation is also to:

1) present the spiritual dimension and potential for healing in the helping relationship

2) understand the inherent spirituality in the helping relationship and use it as a catalyst for growth and transformation for therapist and client

Session Highlights:
  • Define countertransference and explore its impact on the client–therapist relationship.

  • Discover five ways to evaluate points of connection and disconnection with clients, with attention to the spiritual and metaphysical dimensions of healing.

  • Learn three operating principles to assess client–therapist dynamics through a spiritual/metaphysical lens.

  • Gain new perspectives and tools for working with challenging clients, including concepts such as the morphogenetic field and morphic resonance.
