Cognitive and Somatic Applications of Neuroscience: Intensive Workshop

About this Virtual Event

Sep. 5 - 6, 2025

2 Days Virtual Event
12 CE Credits
Modern neuroscience offers valuable insights that enable precise and effective treatment for common mental health challenges that can often seem impractical to address. This course bridges that gap, equipping you with practical applications of neuroscience-informed cognitive and somatic techniques.
Are you ready for something different? As a provider of mental health treatment, it is important to stay educated and abreast of all the modern advances in treatment. Beyond being a requirement of most licensure boards, research shows improving practitioner competence decreases burn-out and increases job satisfaction! One of the hottest topics out there is the incorporation of neuroscience in mental health treatment. You heard this and want to learn more – you’ve read all the popular books, but it just doesn’t seem practical. But what if you could acquire in-depth training in both theory and application of modern neuroscience, skills, and techniques to enhance treatment of cognitive and somatic issues in a way that makes “feet to the pavement” sense? This accessibility will better allow you to equip clients with knowledge of the complex interactions of brain and body in easy-to-understand terms, empowering them to have a greater ability to self-regulate and create more accurate internal narratives. Likewise, as these complexities become clearer, you will improve your ability to read and interpret cognitive-somatic issues and provide more highly targeted treatment. This course will deliver all this in an engaging, interactive, and easy-to-understand manner.
